Norwegian ship designer and builder VARD has received an order from Orange Marine of France for two VARD 9 03 design cable laying and repair vessels to be built at the Colombo Dockyard in Sri Lanka. The vessels will be of the same design as the CS Sophie Germain, which was delivered in July 2023 to Orange Marine.
